Okay, so apparently you need to have an account (a free one, of course) with tripod or lycos to post on this blog. It's as easy as clicking the link at the bottom right. If this bothers anyone, let us know. It can be remedied (likely by scouring the internet for a different free blog host).
Also - if you have any ideas for the appearance of this blog, send them our way. We'll consider every suggestion that falls within the limits of what tripod is capable of.
